Pearson VUE Announces Delivery of Isilon Exams
We are pleased to announce that Isilon has chosen Pearson VUE to provide electronic testing services solely through our extensive worldwide network of test centers.
Exam registration and delivery is scheduled to begin January 15, 2007. Registrations can be made at your test center, on the Pearson VUE Web site or through the Pearson VUE Call Center.

CompTIA A+ — 2003 Exams Retirement Extension
With the launch of the updated suite of CompTIA A+ exams, CompTIA had previously
announced that the current A+ exams based on the 2003 objectives would be
available only until December 31, 2006. Exceptions were made for the E2C market
(June 30, 2007) and a number of International regions (March 31, 2007 – December
31, 2007, depending on region). CompTIA has now announced that the retirement
date of the 2003 versions of the A+ exams will be extended until June 30, 2007.
Regions and markets with previously announced retirement dates later than June
30, 2007 will not be affected.

Macromedia
Macromedia is Now Part of Adobe
As of December 1, 2006, the Macromedia Certified Professional Program will
integrate with the Adobe Certified Expert Program—forming the Adobe Certified
Program. Therefore, effective December 1st, 2006, we will no longer be
delivering exams under the Macromedia program, and it will be deactivated.
Pearson VUE will continue to deliver Macromedia’s exams through our Adobe
program, under Adobe branding.
Effective January 1, 2007, The American College (TAC) will begin delivering
exams at Pearson VUE Authorized Centers in the EMEA and APAC regions. The
American College has been delivering exams in test centers in the United States
for several years. Candidates may start registering for exams December 15th.

The CFA Institute begins its next testing window on September 1.
It will run through October 31.
